Brendan E November 07, am UTC. Is there a reason why the selectable document doesn't have the stat blocks? Brendan E January 13, pm UTC.

It was soon after I posted my comment that I realised what I wanted to do was pretty redundant. What I SHOULD have said was that I really love these guides you've put together for SKT, I've bought almost all of them and they have helped me immensely.

I concluded Kraken's Gamble recently and my players loved it, it was definitely the thing that excited them the most so far.

Do you have plans to release any more? I would love to see a guide for each of the Giant strongholds as I intend to run them all assuming my players are interested in pursuing those Giant lords.

Ironslag seems particularly troubling. Arthur WH L October 27, pm UTC. Just to let people know that Multiattack is missing from the Otyugh stat block.

Another useful thing to know is that only spells of 6th level or hire can cure aboleth's disease. One of my players cured Artan with lesser restoration before I read aboleth's stat block in the monster manual.

Patrick M September 04, pm UTC. I cannot find the stat cards at the end of the adventure. Am I doing something wrong?

The PDF I download only has 13 pages, not the 18 in the mini preview. Maxime S September 04, pm UTC.

There are two PDFs in the bundle; a selectable PDF and a non-selectable PDF. The selectable one doesn't include the stat cards, while the non-selectable one does.

Patrick M September 05, am UTC. Maxime S July 24, pm UTC. It seems the stats for the Giant Seagulls are missing. I'm guessing they're close to the Giant Vultures or Giant Eagles of the Monster Manual?

Eventyr G July 26, pm UTC. That's certainly an oversight on my part - I was sure it was included.

But yes, use the statistics for Giant Vultures in the Monster's Manual :. A giant vulture does more damage with its talons than its beak, which would be awkward for a seagull's webbed feet.

I swap their damages and replaced talons with a wing attack. Daniel H June 14, am UTC. I absolutely love this module! Clear, well-written, and with some great hooks that work in a lot of different storylines.

I have one clarification question about the sewers section. Can I ask it here or is it OK to email you?

Eventyr G June 14, am UTC. I'm very happy to hear that you like it. You're more than welcome to write it here, it might benefit others who've run into the same question :.

Daniel H June 16, pm UTC. OK, great. In the sewers section, the text states that the canals are 5 feet deep.

On the map, is this indicated by the green color only? What are the gray tiles, then? I have a gnome character who I don't think would swim through the canals - will he be able to walk along the edge and stay out of the water, or would he have to swim?

I'm so excited that I've been able to foreshadow it with your module and that it will come back in such a big way later on!

Eventyr G June 17, am UTC. Hi Daniel! The canals are indicated by the green water, yes, and the tiles on either side of the canals are walkways, that the characters can move on.

None of the party need to actually be in the water, but the kuo-toa might attempt to pull them down into the water with their pincer staffs : I'm glad your party enjoyed the Grand Dame, it's a fun little excursion!

Spencer U June 01, pm UTC. Greetings, I really like your work but I ran into a number of monsters I'm not familiar in this module which I was hoping to ask you about.

Do you have a preferred channel of communication for talking about possible spoilers in this, perhaps email? Thank you in advance! Eventyr G June 01, pm UTC.

Thanks for the fast response! My email is spencer. Charles M November 18, am UTC. Quick question, I've bought three things from you so far, this, Goldenfields and the Flying Misfortune.

I'd like to add them right into my notes for my Roll20 campaign of Storm Kings Thunder. Eventyr G November 18, am UTC.

I'm glad you like them! I actually thought that they were selectable - but you're right, I can see that most of the text isn't.

I've done some testing, and it seems to be an issue with the font I am using Bookmania which is the standard 5th edition font. In order to make these PDFs selectable, I'll have to back and change the font, and do some reformatting.

I'll see if I can work something out by tomorrow. If there's any way you can get me your e-mail, I can also send you the source WORD-documents, if you're in a hurry.

Otherwise I hope I can have a solution soon, at least for the three you're requesting and future publishings :. Charles M November 19, am UTC.

Out of curiosity, are we eventually getting a Bryn Shander product? That's the Chapter 2 Encounter I want to run and I've been checking every day for over a week for one :.

Eventyr G November 16, pm UTC. Wow, I'm really glad to hear that! I'm actually working on it right now, I just need to finish the maps.

I'm fairly certain I can have it up by tomorrow. I hope you get a chance to run this adventure as well :. I've bought 4 of your SKT products so far and was beginning to think that Triboar would be the best option Very much looking forward to seeing Bryn Shander!

I'll throw up some reviews once I get my group through your adventures :. Eventyr G November 17, pm UTC. Wow, thanks for the support, that's awesome!

I've uploaded Bryn Shander now - it should be under the 'Newest DM's Guild section soon'. If you want my advice, I think it depends on what you and your players will enjoy the most: Long and complex battles over several different battlefields with multiple opponents, as well as a quest Naxene's that can put you on a straight path toward the campaign goal?

Go for Goldenfields. A dynamic and exciting town with some intrigue and fleshed out NPCs, that also provides several interesting quests with awesome rewards?

Go for Triboar. A simpler town with an easier-to-run encounter, that provides quests that can be really interesting if you do some work on your own?

Go for Bryn Shander. Either way, I hope you at least get some use out of all the creature cards and maps if you purchase several of the documents, and only get to run one of the towns.

I'm happy for your support and look forward to seeing your reviews! Tell me you're going to do more of these!

I'd love your take on running the other Giant Strongholds as well as some other chapter 3 adventures. Be more than happy to continuing paying for them!

Steve L. We haven't started SKT yet, but there's a good chance it's coming up next. I actually needed a much earlier well-rounded Yartar hook, as I homebrewed a little mystery surrounding a link to Bowgentle's spellbook in LMOP.

The silk [ Kate A. I'm still early in SKT and everyone will tell you Chapter 3 is a beast. My players started in Goldenfields, moved North to Triboar and I didn't have a meaty adventure planned for them.

We know the players are going to get a clue towards the [ My party had a great time with the adventure. They're encounter with the final boss made them really had the purple dressed lady leading to some interesting RP moments.

The entire dungeon was very thought out and had plenty of moments for [ A customer. Really loved this adventure, added alot to my SKT game.

Matthew B. This is a great little adventure to run when your party gets to Yartar. It's helps forshadow the Golden Goose perfectly for later on in the campaign.

I have a question relating to the Glyph of Warding on the sewer grate, how does Oosith cast this spell or the embedded Thunderwave?

In 5e Aboleths do not appear to have the spell casting ability of previous editions, partly because it would be most interesting to have a Dispel magic in a glyph to deal with intruders relying on water breathings spells.

Eventyr G January 04, am UTC. Hi Byrom Sorry for the late reply — a new year and all that! That one I'd chalk up to resourcefulness.

A clever aboleth should be able to wring a spell out of an enslaved creature or get its slimy tentacles on a few spell scrolls. I love the idea of messing with the characters' water breathing spells — you should definitely implement that.

In the end, you decide what powers the creatures in your game have — changing things up a bit now and then both makes the game more exciting and keeps your players on their toes!

Best regards, J. Naomi L October 08, pm UTC. Valeur R, I found a website with this PDF for download, which I'm sure hasn't done so legally, but I didn't want to put the URL here on the front page.

Is there a way to private message you? Eventyr G October 08, pm UTC. Hi Naomi You can reach me at valeurrpg gmail.

Richard B January 14, pm UTC. This was so helpful in filling the gap between the structure of earlier chapters and the wide open nature of Chapter 3.

It was also useful in giving me ideas for how to create my own adventures to flesh out other areas.

I DM for three of my kids ages 17, 13 and 11 and they LOVED it, so than you. Eventyr G January 14, pm UTC. Hey Richard.

Really happy to hear that your kids enjoyed it, that's awesome! Zachary S June 14, pm UTC. Hey, Valeur RPG. Regarding Stephen L's comment below, "I'm noticing a lot of typos in this.

It would be nice not to mention more professional if you could find someone to proof these and update the files," I am a professional copyeditor and would be interested in working with you to proof your modules.

Jonathan M V May 27, pm UTC. I just ran this with my group and they seemed to enjoy it, after nearly getting themselves killed never split the party!

I would have definitely killed the party without the mistake noted below. One problem: The stat block for the Aboleth ISN'T IN THE DOCUMENT. And the name of the aboleth was close enough to Otyugh that I used those stats.

And the Otyugh is listed next to Merfolk as the last entry, so I just assumed that was the Aboleth. I didn't realize my mistake until I got home and started looking through the stat blocks for granting XP.

Recommend: Add Aboleth stat block. Rename the Aboleth to something that is different enough from Otyugh to be clear.

Jake H June 05, am UTC. Michael M September 28, pm UTC. But Oosith is a modified aboleth. The standard aboleth in the Monster Manual doesn't cast Phantasmal Force.

Might affect the CR of the creature. Stephen L March 28, am UTC. I'm noticing a lot of typos in this.
